David Levy

Well it's about time i talk about my favourite artist David Levy he is my favourite for a reason he's concepts are brilliant, he is known internationally and doesn't just focus on one genre of media. senior concept artist for Tron Legacy, the Thing (2011), Prometheus (2012) and a cartoon short called Plug were he was director, writer and producer. Now what i know him more for is his video game work and fantasy illustrator with his work with steambot studios. My favourite stuff is his assassin's creed work and his work on Prince of Persia 3. He like so many have learn't how to speed paint in a way that makes me jealous for good reason.

 So you can see some art that i choose because i like them not because they are his most famous work but because I really like them. Now it's that time again lets look at relevance well if you looked at the dock layout for assassin's creed  he obviously got told what they want to see but they are what he sees in his mind, as i look at it you can see there is research put into it. So as you can see all his work has a theme and i love that he was told for the enemy characters eastern style and he delivered it. Mixed media that is what i want to do in the future so this artist is a inspiration even if i don't want to do movies there is still a few years that might change.
